Returns and Exchanges

We make every effort to provide customers with the highest quality products and services available. Whether you encounter a problem with product workmanship or simply need to return a purchased item, you will need to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from you sales representative. RMA numbers can be requested via e-mail, phone call, or by completing our online form.

Type of Returns & Procedure

Defective or Damaged Product

If you encounter a problem due to product workmanship and need to make a return, you will need to obtain a RMA number:

  1. Call or e-mail your sales representative to explain the reason for the return.
  2. Please provide part number and serial numbers.
  3. Defective or damaged products must fall within the warranty period of the product(s) purchased.
  4. Returned products must include their original packaging, labels and certificates.

Product Returns & Exchanges

For items that you would like to exchange or return for credit, an RMA number will be required:

  1. Call or e-mail your sales representative to explain the reason for the return.
  2. Returned products must include their original packaging, labels and certificates. Load cell cables must be of original length.
  3. Returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of purchase and in new condition in order to receive credit.
  4. Credit note or replacements will be issued once the items have been received and inspected.
  5. A 10% restocking fee, or $50 (whichever is greater), applies to non-defective or shipping-damage-free returned products. Insufficient packaging, damaged product, or missing parts may result in reduced or denied credit.

Shipping Guildelines for Returns

  1. Return the items with the individual manufacturer product packaging, the original shipping packaging is not required. 
  2. Write the RMA number on the packing slip or on the outside of the packaging.
  3. Check with your sales representative which location to return the items to, and ship via pre-paid on ground service.
  4. RMA returned items must be sent via traceable means, please retain the tracking information for your records.
  5. The customer is responsible for the product(s) until it is received by our warehouse. If items are damaged during the return shipment due to inadequate packaging, it will be left to our discretion to determine whether or not the product is repairable or refundable. Please note, products that require repairs may be subject to additional fees.

Requesting RMA Number

To request a RMA number by phone or email, please provide the following information:

  1. Part number of product
  2. Serial number of product
  3. Reason for the return
    • For defective products, please include a detailed description of the issue with pictures or videos
